I was a little disappointed with the room i booked. the 'superior twin room' felt smaller than i expected. also, the street noise was a bit much at night. It made it difficult to sleep soundly, even with the windows closed.

The room featured traditional Japanese design. Tatami mats were comfortable and clean. The vanity was separate from the bathroom. Coin Laundry included Wash and Dry machines. I could read manga while I waited.
The hotel told us breakfast was available until 10 am, but we were turned away at 9:35. The man running the breakfast claimed last entry was at 9:15. He showed a piece of paper saying last entry was 9:30.

The hotel had easy access to metro and buses. Gojo Subway station was very close. Nishi Hongan-Ji was less than 10 minutes by foot. It was an absolute must see temple.

Breakfast report indicated good quality and price. I found vouchers for each breakfast. I had an early check out. I asked in advance to return the payment for one breakfast.

The hotel provides self check in and check out. Luggage storage happened without staff. There were locker type and rope type options. It was easy to store things. The lobby felt spacious.

the breakfast offered many choices. i liked the coffee machine in the room. i also appreciated the light controls located next to the bed. the strong window shades were amazing, ensuring no light came through in the morning.
The room windows could not be opened so ventilation was poor. I struggled to sleep due to the stale air.

the staff were very helpful. the girls who assisted me were friendly. they were able to provide quick responses. their assistance enhanced my overall experience at the hotel.

the train station was very close, only about 2 minutes from the hotel. this made getting around easy and convenient. bus stops were also within walking distance. the central location assisted with travel.

check in was easy. the room was a good size considering the location. gojo station was an easy walk away also kyoto was near a pretty large temple.
the floors were a bit dirty. it would have been nice if it was vacuumed more thoroughly. the traffic noise occasionally disturbed our sleep since the hotel is right on the main road.
